Welcome to the St Edward's PTA page!
If you didn't know, PTA stands for Parent-Teacher Association. It is made up of parents and teachers who meet regularly to discuss matters that can affect the children in school and to organise events to raise money.
In the past we have organised Film Nights, Spooky Discos, Christmas Hampers and raffles, and helped out at other fund raising events in school.
We also run the 100 Club - a yearly subscription of just £10 that is entered into a monthly cash prize draw that has a first prize of £15 and a second prize of £10!
Money we raise goes towards New Starter Reception Class blue book bags, Year 6 Hoodies, books that are needed and just recently the Eco Warrior Hoodies. We have other projects planned for the future too.
We are a small group of parents and teachers and we are always looking for new volunteers to join us. We meet about three times a year and try to help out when we can with the various functions in school. Our first meeting of the school year is normally in October, invitations to join are included in the 100 Club Membership letter.
If you do wish to join, or have any questions regarding the St Edwards PTA, please contact Mrs Dudgeon who is the PTA Chair, at the school office.
