Welcome to our School Librarians' page!

Our Librarians are passionate about reading and helping others discover the joy of books. They work hard alongside Mrs Cordingley to keep our library organised, recommend their favourite reads, and support younger children in finding exciting stories to enjoy. We are proud of the important role they play in promoting a love of reading across our school.

Their tasks for the year include:

📚 Helping to promote the October Scholastic Book Fair.

🏆 Running our 3 exciting reading competitions, where children who read 4 times per week earn a raffle ticket for the chance to win book prizes:

• 🍂 Autumn: Countdown to Christmas
• 🐰 Spring: Easter Bunnies
• ☀️ Summer: Skydive into Summer

📖 Keeping class reading corners tidy, inviting and up to date.

🤝 Supporting younger children as Reading Buddies.

🏡 Taking care of our Reading Shed and helping it remain a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy reading.
