Sustainability Vision

“The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it.”
Psalm 24:1
At our Catholic primary school, we are committed to learning through caring with God’s love, recognising that caring for creation is a vital expression of our faith. We believe the world is a gift from God, entrusted to us to protect, nurture, and share responsibly.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”
Colossians 3:23
Guided by our values of Love, Respect, Honesty, Joy, Compassion, and Forgiveness, we seek to inspire our children to care for one another, for our environment, and for the wider world. Through meaningful learning experiences and daily actions, pupils are encouraged to develop a deep respect for God’s creation and an understanding of their role as stewards of it.
“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
1 John 3:18
We strive to embed sustainability into all aspects of school life — our curriculum, decision-making, and community partnerships — so that our children grow in faith, act justly, and make positive choices that support the common good. In doing so, we aim to nurture hopeful, joyful learners who live out God’s love by caring for creation today and for future generations.
